Sunday, June 15 - East Glacier to Cut Bank, Montana - 50 Miles.
Last night we stayed in Glacier National Park at a Hostel that was above a great bakery. We all went to dinner at a good Mexican restaurant and afterwards rode over to the Glacier Park Lodge which is a historic railroad lodge. The train runs through Glacier daily and many folks arrive by train including Diana and Jim who joined our group today. They are from St. Louis. Here is a picture from Glacier.
Sunday night we camped at Cut Bank which claims to be the coldest city in the country on many days. They even have a statue to honor that distinction.

The pix are great. So sorry to hear the rain continues - wish we had some of it. I just read that Glacier had a foot of snow.....
ReplyDeleteThank you so for the update. Heard of the weather in MT and wondered if you had been caught in the snow storm. Have thoroughly enjoyed the photos and your comments--Margaret
